Fingerprints On The Cross

My fingerprints are all over that cross at Calvary that held my Savior as He died.

It was my sins that cause Jesus to be tried and crucified on that cross at Calvary.

God sent Jesus Christ to take my place on the cross so that I would not have to die for the sins that keep me from His side.

As Jesus stood before Pilate He never said a word, He endured the humiliation and the pain of the scourging that was meant for me.

It was my hands that held the nails and my hands that delivered the blows that drove the nails through His feet and hands.

Jesus Christ gave His life so that sinners like you and me would not have to suffer and die the death of a sinner on the cross at Calvary.

Even though my sins convicted Jesus that fateful day, Jesus has wiped my fingerprints from that cross at Calvary and set me free.

Glory be to God for allowing Jesus to take my place on the cross at Calvary and setting me from from the sins that have kept me from His side.

I no longer have to carry the burden of convicting Jesus and nailing Him to the cross at Calvary.

Jesus has revealed the way that leads to heaven and He has invited you and me to join Him when this world we leave.
