Get behind me satan, I'm no longer buying
what you have to sell.
Your wares will only lead me to hell.
Get behind me satan, I don't want what
you have to give.
Heaven is my goal, with the Lord I want
to eternally live.

I had fallen, from the Lord I had strayed.
I had to repent, for forgiveness I had
to pray.
My feet had slipped into the pit.
Had gone deep into the dark abyss.
Life in danger, at risk.

Came back to my senses, to my right mind.
Thank God I was able to do it in time.
The Lord could have cut me off in my mess.
But He still loved me as His son, and
continued to bless.

My father open His arms wide, and welcomed
me home.
For the life of me, Don't know what took me
so long.
He again blessed me with His touch.
And let me know He loved me so very much.

So get behind me satan, behave.
I no longer will be your slave.
I no longer want what you have to give.
I'm back with the Lord, with Him I shall
eternally live.

God can turn you into pure gold.
And as of this moment you can't,
say you haven't been told. Amen.
