On a puff of air
Gently he glides
Above the others
Higher he flies.
He’s learned it’s easier
To let God lift and carry
Than to flitter and flap
Struggling to succeed.
Each day we have
Two choices
To live in His will
Or our own devices.
Choose to soar like the eagle
Floating and flying free
Graceful in flight
Ride the heavenly wave.
