"To Love God is to Be in Vogue"

Over the years, I have come to realize that to love God is to be in vogue, that is, to be really “hip”. Our true love for God sets a solid foundation for our lives in today’s uncertain and rocky world. When the wind blows and the hurricanes of life throw tantrums, we remain unmoved by such forces, because of the power of God’s Word in our lives. So, when the “casualties” of the corporate world, the place of work for example, are being “ambulanced” away by lay-offs, setbacks, vicious office politics, back-biting, firing and down-sizing, our God who gives refuge and shelter to those who love Him, will set you and I on a higher solid ground, above the "siren-equipped motorcade" that so often whisks away others as “victims”.

Still, one might ask, why must we love God? Is it just because He asked us to or because of what we can get from Him? Well, yes He has asked us to love Him with all of our soul (heart, mind, emotions, will) and body, and He has promised those who love Him great and wonderful things, most of which we cannot even begin to conceive. But, God really just wants us to love Him, because He is worthy to be loved, He is our Heavenly Father and Creator, and most importantly He too loves us beyond what we could ever imagine. So, it could never be enough to love God just for the gifts that He bears, for He the giver of all good gifts is far greater than the gifts we seek from Him. We must love God just because He loved us first and gave His only Son Jesus Christ for our eternal salvation. This He did for free without asking us to pay a dime. What an awesome Heavenly Father we have!

I have written this book for all people, especially for young professionals who know and believe God, but who are being defeated by the intrigues and harshness of the corporate world. This book is also for young professionals who don’t know God or believe in Him, and who are being broken by the “wild life” setting of the corporate world. I have also written this book for those who may have “made it” financially in the corporate world, but whose lives seem empty and unfulfilled and who continue to ask, why?


Finally, this book is for people of all races, young or old, professional or not, who daily must deal with some of the not-so-pleasant realities of life. It is for all of you that I have written this book; for you to know that we have one true and living God whose Spirit lives within us, and who longs for our love daily. If you dare to love God, through and by His love that was made flesh in Jesus Christ, all your dreams will come true according to His awesome will and purpose for your life, and your daily toil will soon begin to bear highly productive fruit in His due season for you. He is a loving, living God who gives us divine favor, productivity and acceleration.

I have written this book for all to know that to be in vogue is not an executive position or high-level education, but to love God is to truly be in vogue.
