We spend our whole lives seeking the perfect moment in time
When everything God intended for us seems to come together.
A time when wisdom abounds and spiritual peace invades our heart
And for once we feel a sense of security regarding who we are and what our purpose is.

We feel like life as we know it is under control from a human perspective
Because we have learned to allow God to do His thing however He pleases.
And the future with all that it promises screams of hopes and dreams to come
Leaving us filled with a contentment we never truly thought possible.

Then, when we least expect it, the knowledge and assurance we attained by faith
Opens up a hidden door in our earthen tent that we never knew existed.
And through the opening God peers in and reminds us that contentment never leads to growth
For it is only through constant change and unexpected circumstances that His love shines brightest.

Suddenly the solid foundation that stabilizes our much learned belief system seems to shake.
And we start grasping around for anything to help balance all that we have come to know as truth.
We ask ourselves how it's possible God would have a plan that we weren't already aware of
And we humbly come to realize that His plans are far greater than any we could ever imagine

For He is the Dream Giver…ready and willing to lead us to the dreams of our own hearts
As well as the dreams of His that He had in store for us the moment we were conceived.
The blessing is in knowing that He is very compassionate when He catches us off guard
For He created us as human beings, and His love will carry us through all fear and uncertainty.
