"Give it up,
things aren't going our way"

And they built a pedestal
and placed mankind on top.
Forgetting all about the fact
that man tried before
and only ended up
callling it Babel.

They shake their heads and sneer
at that awful, rigid, common folk
who are still willing
to put on His yoke.

And with intellectual noses in the air,
the say: " Those silly rules don't apply anymore,
he was a good man, but mere man
and what does it matter anyway,
'cause god is anything you want it to be
...maybe even me..."

And failing to see
the strings attached,
They proclaim to be
the master of themselves
and in their search for
self fulfillment, gratification
and explanation:

...they gave us evolution
(and satan said: " Yes let's make
them think they are mere apes")

and they gave us cheap "love"
( and satan said: " yes let's burden
their souls till point of death)

...and finally, the right to choose
who gets to live.
(and satan said: " Now you're talking,
let's teach them to kill
their very own)
