Faith

I was caught in a fish net,
a storm blew in from nowhere,
high waves beat my body,
there was no one in sight.
How long can I live like this?

A dark sky hovers above,
lightning bounces back and forth,
water's strangling me,
there's no need to scream,
no one can hear me.

A lost soul -- alone,
struggling not to sink,
screaming, J-E-S-U-S, J-E-S-U-S,
set me free of my sins and tortures,
release me from this tangled mess.
