Encouragement

Count your blesings and not your problems.
For we all have troubles and strife.
We all face challenges in this earthly life.
Sometimes it seems as though we're walking
under a dark cloud, that our lives have been
cursed.
But count your blessings for it could be
worse.

The Lord woke us up, blessed our feet to hit
the floor.
For one more day, kept death away from our door.
He blessed us to have a portion of health.
Blessed us to live in America, a country of
great wealth.

People in other parts of the world in poverty
without enough to eat.
Lacking shelter, and decent clothing, their
basic neccessities they can't meet.

Hurricane Katrina blew in , and did not play.
Homes and businesses destroyed, precious lives
washed away.
People now displaced, with nowhere to stay.

If we look at problems that others had.
We'll realize we don't have it so bad.
Although sometimes our lives seem to be cursed.
Count your blessings, for it could be worse.

God can turn you into pure gold.
And as of this moment you can't,
say you haven't been told. Amen.
