Jesus came to His own and they didn't recieve.
For in the Saviour, they didn't believe.
They let the thief Barabas go free.
In order to hang Jesus on Calvary.
Pilate told the people in Jesus he found
no fault.
Washed his hands and wanted no part.
But the people raged on, with malice
in their hearts.
He was persecuted, betrayed, and scorned.
Had placed upon His head, a crown of thorns.
Was crucified, nailed both hand and feet.
The agony and shame he endured, beyond belief.
Told death to behave, and got up the third day.
While still inside rolled the stone away.
He rose with all power, and walked about.
Yet His people still harbored doubt.

Today there's still people that don't believe Jesus came.
Some don't believe in the baptism in His Precious Name.
They will tell you it don't take all of that.
But Acts 2:38 tells us that what it took.
If it wasn't true, it wouldn't be in the book.
In the Precious Name of Jesus we must believe.
For Heaven forbid we be decieved.
To get to the Father we must come by the Son.
For God sent Him, as the Annointed One.
Jesus came and He paid the cost.
Without His sacrifice, our souls would be lost.
Now rejoice and be glad that He came.
Get the baptism in His Precious Name.
For it's better to have and not need,
then to need and not have.
For then your fate would truly be sad.

God can turn you into pure gold,
and as of this moment you can't
say you haven't been told. Amen.
