Imagine how the spring rings in.
Like a thief in the night.
Changing the whole scene;
The biting cold out of sight.

The sun makes radiant the face.
Summer peeps in the window.
The clocks go forward in the race.
Flowers begin to glow and grow.

The clothes get thinner and thinner.
The birds begin to sing, cheering,
The coats recede to the back burner,
bidding bye, ringing in the spring.

People become friendlier, louder, happier,
Springs in their steps as the hop and shop.
Longings begin for the hols in summer
And beckoning, lots of fun, the sun, the sea, non-stop.

Time for resurrection, time for New Life
When the old garments are shed and new, worn
A time for birds to sing out the old, sing in new.
A time for new hopes and a time for new dreams.
