Where is the song
the music forgot?
It’s left all alone
No arrangement in sight
No rhythm in lyrics
No rhyme can be found
The song is now lost
Never making a sound
Chords held captive
Sharps turn into flat
Writers confusion
Lost dreams to enchant
Bursting from paper
Notes now come alive
Chords spring in fine tune
And the artist now thrives
Love was unspoken
Held with the song
Finally released
It was there all along

I wasn`t expecting the end and it was lovely! Short enough to read through twice which is nice, cos so many writer`s do long pieces and the reader wanders, and often gives up! Best wishes
