There is nothing at all
The Lord could'nt do
nothing at all
if He willed it to
He can bring forth wine
from an empty cup
make oceans freeze over
or the rain fall up

in the blink of an eye
He can turn wrong to right
or make a rainbow appear
in the still of the night
He can even turn an apple
from red to blue
there is nothing at all
The Lord could'nt do
nothing at all
if He willed it to
for He has walked upon water
set bushes ablaze
made rain fall from heaven
forty nights and days
even death has surrendered
to the sound of His voice
as kings bow before Him
The Heavens rejoice

and for decadent hearts
to be made brand new
there is nothing at all
The Lord could'nt do
nothing at all
if He willed it to
for the blind shall eyewitness
and the deaf overhear
like the tide that recedes
so shall the fear
and for those who feel anguish
and empty inside
there is nothing at all
The Lord can't provide

so if you believe
remain steadfast and true
'caus there's nothing at all
The Lord could'nt do
nothing at all
if He willed it to
He can bring forth wine
from an empty cup
make oceans freeze over
or the rain fall up

A very lovely and wonderful poem. Very well written, with a powerful message that rings so very true. God bless.

I like this poem. It's packed with theology, apparently written from the perspective of gratitude. There was a change in person midway that confused me. One line spoke of his knock on the door, then it switched to you and your, then back to him again. This happens in comtemporary Christian songs too, with the same sense of confusion. Also there are a few spelling errors, but it is a heartfelt poem. Thanks for sharing it.
