It has been some time since I have written, and that is for good reason. Those of us who understand that we are not doing the writing, the teaching, and so forth understand it is God. He is the one that brings forth His Word in due season. There are those that have been called and ordained to bring forth a Word every month. We truly thank God for them because we are getting fed as never before. Never before in history has mankind received such revelation from the Lord. We ought to be grateful for those that have laid down heir lives to give us this precious bread from heaven.

I am not speaking of physical death, even though some have done that too, but the death of self. Realizing that it is no longer I that live, but the Christ! Many have secluded themselves so that they may hear straight from the Spirit, and then give it to us. This is not an easy task, for many have had to neglect earthly matters to live such a life. This is not a doctrine, nor is it any type of religion. It is a way of life. In all truth, it is The Way. Jesus stated, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life." He said it in this order for a specific reason. Everything that was said by the Lord, and what He continues to say has great meaning beyond our comprehension.

This is why it would behoove us to put on the mind of Christ, for the carnal mind is at enmity with God. This mind can’t receive the things of God. Jesus is the Way. He showed us the way by his earthly actions and life. He displayed complete loyalty to the Father, and His kingdom. Even unto death, did He release Himself to God. This is the way. There is n o other way to glory, except through death. Without death there is no resurrection. How can you be raised if you have never died? Again I am not speaking of physical death, even though there is a meaning for that as well. I only want to deal with the spiritual aspect of death and resurrection.

What does this have to do with the dwelling place of God? Everything! We need to understand that our sonship is a process, not a one time deal. We cannot just proclaim that we are sons of God just because we heard or read that it is so. It takes a gestation of time for these beings to come forth in and through a people. This is where we come to the next statement Jesus made. He said, "I am the Truth." Jesus admonished the people to recognize the TRUE VINE, for there were many vines to feed from, to receive nourishment. He was stating that He alone wad the True Vine, and the Father the Husbandman. We are the branches, and branches receive nourishment from the vine, and in turn the vine and the branches receive from the Father! How beautiful is God’s order? If we abide in the True Vine then we will always have truth, the reality of whom GOD really is, and not some myth religion has conjured up. I don’t mean to abide in a doctrine, the church system, or any other group. I said to abide in Him, in the Lord Jesus Christ.

After we see the Way, and we walk therein is when He begins to reveal Himself to us. This is the Truth. Even as He did with John on the Isle of Patmos. John walked, ate and slept with Jesus, but He still really didn’t know Him. John was chosen for such a time as this, and Jesus revealed THE TRUTH to John. In turn John revealed the truth to us, but only those who have ears to hear, and eyes to see will truly see the Revelation of Jesus Christ. I am not just speaking of the written Word in your Bibles, but the living reality of its meaning.

Once John saw who Jesus really was, and the reality of the Christ he then came to abundant Life. This Life that comes from an order after the rank of Melchizedek. This realization is the power of an endless life. Jesus stated, "I AM..." He is the WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE! He is not just life (bios), but abundant Life (Zoe). He is life even after the body is gone. He is life even when there is no fruit left on the vine, and the fig tree fails to blossom. He is Life when the doctors tell us that we have six months to live this earthly life. He is ALL things to ALL people.

The scriptures tell us, "This is THE WAY, walk ye in it." What was this saying to us? It was telling us that the way is not a physical path that you walk on upon the earth. It is not even a religion, denomination, or a person. It is the Lord Jesus Christ. He came to show us the way, and He came that we may have life and that more abundantly.

Manifestations of God’s Dwelling Place

There are several different situations I want to discuss for us to see how we have come to be God’s dwelling place. We are temples of the Holy Spirit, which is God’s Person. When man acts a certain way, we say that it is their person or personality. It is the same with God. God gave us a down payment for the fullness to come forth, and that is, He gave Himself in the form or person of the Holy Spirit. He is there to lead us, guide us, and comfort us until the day of fullness. The down payment wasn’t for us. This is where we are missing the whole reason for our existence. The down payment was for God! He made this deposit in us so that at the appointed time He could come forth in us in all His glory! Hallelujah!

We have used the Holy Spirit to fulfill our own needs. We use Him to sound act spiritual, but this is not what He is for. He is not our flunky. Nor is He our servant, or slave. He is our Friend. He is in us to make us holy even as He (God) is holy, perfect even as He is perfect. Before Jesus departed this physical realm he stated that He and the Father would come and make their abode IN us. Praise God! That right there is good news. This lets me know that there is no where I can go, nothing I can do, or not do to thwart his plan for my life. All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. When he abides in us we cannot sin, because he cannot sin. This is deep revelation, and those mature can hear this and not use it as a license to sin. For what true son of God would want to sin? That is the question. Paul stated that it wasn’t he doing the things that were sinful, but the fleshly nature, the sin within his earthly, carnal mind. He separated himself from that beast nature, and identified with the nature of Christ. Eventually the beast nature was eradicated, and it was no longer Paul, but Christ that lived through him.

When told Noah to build the ark it was to preserve a people that would usher in a new order. This is why there eight souls in the ark, and eight got out. Eight is the number of new beginnings. God was beginning anew, but this is not the focus here. I want to focus on the fact that there was a certain place that the ark ended up. He rested on Mount Moriah. This was the same mountain that God instructed Abraham to sacrifice Isaac. Later we see David buying the threshing floor of Ornan. The threshing floor of Ornan was located in the precisely the same place!

Around 988 B.C. Satan provoked King David to take a census of the people. Of course, all is in the plan of God, but, nevertheless David sinned. The people were punished for this sin. So the Lord sent pestilence upon Israel: and there fell of Israel seventy thousand men. The plague stopped only when the angel of the Lord paused over the threshing floor of Ornan. Once David saw the angel at this place, he immediately went about offering a sacrifice to the Lord. In order for him to offer the sacrifice he had to buy the threshing floor first. And David built there an altar unto the Lord, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings, and called upon the Lord.

When David prepared the sacrifice, God responded with fire from heaven. And he answered him from heaven by fire upon the altar of burnt offering. Why is this so profound? Not only because it was the place of the ark, and the spot of sacrifice of Isaac; it was the dwelling place of God! This place wasn’t in Jerusalem, nor was David a priest authorized by the Law to offer a burnt offering. David found something. He found the dwelling place of God, and it was there he offered himself! A burnt offering symbolizes the offering ourselves unto the Lord.

Let us look at the way Abraham was going to sacrifice Isaac - with wood and fire. This offering wasn’t just about Isaac, but Abraham as well. It was his way of portraying to God that he loved Him above everything, including the promise of a son. Look at the three Hebrew boys. The 4th man appeared only after they were put in the fire! The dwelling place of God is within us, but the only way we are going to see it is God has to bring the fire! He has to put His Word to the test. He must allow tribulation to come upon us in order for us to really see where He is. David didn’t know what that place was until God responded with fire from heaven.

That is another important piece of information. We must realize that this fire is not coming from satan, people, the government, the President, our family, and so forth. It is coming from within us! It is coming from an invisible realm, a dimension within our soul that God instigates. It is He who is blowing upon the fire making it hotter and hotter. It wasn’t Nebucchanezer that made the fire seven times hotter, but it was God! Sure, God used the physical form of the great king, but the cause was the Lord. We and everyone around us are only effects of the Cause. There are many effects, but only one Cause.

This is why there many sons, many parts to the Body, but only One God, One Lord. There is only One Christ, one Jesus. There will never be another Jesus Christ. God has the power to make Himself all things to all people. He has the ability to make Himself expand into every soul on the face of this planet if He wanted to. He is not interested in that yet, He is interested in a first fruit. This is what He is doing in our midst. He is preparing a first, so that He may bring forth a whole company of sons, a divine government upon the earth. It will be as Jesus taught us to pray, "Thy Kingdom come on earth, as it is in heaven."

There is no natural kingdom in heaven. There are no natural streets of gold, and mansions lined up on the street. No, this kingdom is not of this world. It is in a world of its own, a spiritual, invisible world. Only those that has an eye to see can see it, and then enter therein. I am speaking of right now on the earth, not when our bodies fall away in physical death. God desires to bring forth His kingdom on the earth as it operates in the spiritual, heavenly realm. Pure, holy, and complete. HIS LOVE, HIS JOY, HIS PEACE, HIS POWER, HIS AUTHORITY, HIS WORD, HIS PLAN, HIS WILL, HIS DESIRES, HIS ANOINTING! No longer I, but the Christ....
