Lord I took this time to meet with you
right here in my secret place
So we can talk about things that's pressing me
that I know I'll have to face

Lord can I spill it all out of my heart
will you listen to my little tale;
I know you'll have patience to wait on me
as I pour out about each detail

I know you won't tell me you are busy
or put me off for another day;
But will open your ears and attend to my tears
by heeding to what I have to say

I'll never hear you say that you are bored
but glad of spending time with me;
And won't get in a hurry to leave this place
but will help me more to see

One is, you don't deal with file cabinets
no data base, will you ever use;
And your memory bank, it is always open
of free time, you'll never refuse

Lord I know my time with you is precious
not a moment can I afford to waste;
So while I'm here Lord, do search my heart
I'd be ok, if you do it in haste

Though I took this certain time to meet you
it's a good thing on my part;
While laying here thinking of your goodness
that you always do impart

So Lord as I enter into our secret place
O' how I love it when we meet;
Be it a problem or not, your worhty of my time
so your presence my heart does greet
