Sometimes people do forget the little person
the one who's behind the plow ;
And there's the wagon to be pushed or pulled
that needs help in some way or how

When it has to go up those rocky hills
that can be too hard to climb;
Then I'd need some legs and hands
to help the wheels stay in line

Even the plower is worthy of his labor
while they are tilling the land;
He's doing it so his crop can come through
but, still it's by God's command

I do pray to not ever forget God's mercy
that he pours outs each day;
By touching hearts so to do their part
to help others on their way

For God needs legs and a lot of hands
and a mouth he will also use;
So he can disperse grace on the human race
even if him, they do refuse

God has a way that's still mighty sweet
for he takes what we think not;
And he does prove, that he's in full charge
because, somehow you and I forgot

It's the foolish things that he does inspires
when the heart it has no will;
Then he steps in, and bring it to an end
and help make it stand still

Now it's so good to obey his purpose
oh how simple he can make it be;
If we can only move flesh out the way
then what power will we see

He can even take a stoney heart
so it can minister when it's time;
Even if it has shut up it's doors
he will release it's bind

Therefore I can't allow my thoughts to lead
I've got to put them on hold;
And let God take over, for any defense
by letting him be in control

Some will argue that they know the way
and will turn away from you;
But if it's God, then he'll prove himself
and let you nkow what is true

God's purpose for some they won't understand
in how he moves in his way and time;
For if not by their thoughts, they will halt
because, of what they had in mind

But now the humble heart will hear him
even if it seems a bit strange;
For it realize that, he knows the answer
and have no need of it to re-arrange

The obedient heart will accept this order
his word the first, and all others last
In knowing that his will always come through
and most certainly come to past

For our God he has never lost a battle
he is the same forever more;
And when we apply and rely on his wisdom
then it will open every door

Now if others say your lost your mind
then the answer, it should be;
Rather be crazy for the Lord, than the devils fool
and what you say is ok with me

For to box with God is a losing battle
for our arms are way too short;
For his wisom goes beyond the natural mind
and it will never abort

The foolishness of man it has no depths
it can't even hold one drop;
Won't water one thing, but will only dry up
and will never benefit God's crop

But our mighty God and Savior
his will flow with grace;
And the depths of his love will forever grow
in each and every dry place
