Christmas had came and now has passed
but, the tree it still is here;
Not in the closet or on the trash
but, right here in this new year
The lights are burning, bright as ever
not a one will ever go out;
For what God gives, shines through the heart
this is what, Christmas, is all about
There are so many gifts beneath the tree of hope
that are wrapped all with God's love
And they are there for to open all year round
because, they comes from up above
O' Christmas was a great day of celebration
of our Lord and Savior's birth;
And so it was a time to give him praise
for coming down on this earth
What a beautiful tree, he is to you and me
that we can keep forever;
Plus it can stand in the hearts of man
even in the worse's weather
This tree it had already been well adorned
with decorations for every heart;
By it's ornaments of joy, peace and love
that will never depart
O' this tree of hope it has special lights
that you can see far and near
For the spirit of the Lord shines within and out
not once, but year after year
We know he came to a dying world
to save us from our sins;
And that is why he is called the tree of life
by bringing old death to it's end
For the price was paid on the cross
so now our souls can live
And by the name of Jesus every knee shall bow
because of the gift that God did give
So don't put away this special Christmas tree
keep it lighted wherever you go;
Always lift it up, each and every day
and in your heart, this, you know
