Created, called to cultivate a Christ-like character.
Born, fashioned, woven, made in His image
Planted to grow in Him, from Him and for Him
Find my roots in Him and shoot up to Him.

And this how it all begins; the Genesis:
Begin by being born again,
Admitting you're a sinner,
Acknowledging Jesus as Lord,
Agreeing you cannot save yourself,
Believing Him with your heart,
Bidding bye to your old life,
Confessing your sin
Coming as you are.
Putting the past behind,
Renewing your mind.

Let His word make its home in you,
Living in you, saturating you,
Filling you to overflowing,
Like a cup running over.

Daily expose your soul
To the ray of His Sun,
Being transformed into His likeness,
Making and having peace in troubled waters,
Obedient, doer of the word, just like Him.

Lay down your life in humility;
Making deposits in your heavenly bank account;
Being a light of the world,
And a salt of the earth.

Be a city on a hill; towering, not cowering;
Patient in troubled waters,
Enduring the fires of adversity,
And the furnace of affliction.

Be like a good soldier of Christ;
Not being shaped in to the mould of this world,
But being undeniably transformed inside out,
Like the change in the butterfly.

Be beautified, adorned by glory,
Forgiving others as God has forgiven you
Caring for others being your story,
refusing to give your adversary a foothold.

Know the Holy Spirit,
The Spirit of Life and the Spirit of grace.
Embrace Him, love Him, live in Him
Let Him live in you, empower you,
guide you standby you, strengthen you,
help you, show things to come to you,
teach you, lead you,
refresh you, rejuvenate you,
pray in and through you,
give you creative abilities,
hone you and enable you bear fruit.

Know who you are in Christ-
His hands and His feet,
His voice, His choice;
His ambassador, His priest,
Part of His Body,
Heirs of God and joint heir with Christ
Beloved of God, Saint of God,
Redeemed of the Lord,
A Citizen of Heaven,
Apple of God's eye
The crowning glory of God's creation
The object of God's pleasure
God's property and territory,
Forgiven, blood washed,
Blood bought and blood kept ,
God's field, God's friend.

Therefore be not perturbed by anything.
Talk to God about everything.
Thank Him before you see.
Revel at His majesty,
beauty and integrity.

Give glory always to the Holy.
Be kind, caring and compassionate.
Be helpful, hospitable and harmonious.
Be free from fear and folly.
Embrace faith, fervency in spirit
and the fear of God.
Be daring, diligent and determined.
Be gentle, generous, good and grateful
And grow in grace.

Watch well your words.
Don't let them be fires that raze,
Or knives that stab the back, biting the back.
When evil wars with you,
overcome it with love come from above.

Save your friend,
tell him the truth in love
flattery will cause him
to falter and fall flatly.

Be strong in the Lord.
Sing songs in the face of wrongs.
Be patient even when you have waited long.
God will renew your strength
to go from strength to strength,
depth to depth and height to height
and breadth to breadth.

Think of others, your fellow heirs
their interests, their welfare
and so doing, you will fare well, grow well
become a magnificent oak of righteousness
to the glory of the living God.
