Toy Soldier/Real War

Satan has asked to sift you as wheat. That phrase terrifies me. The fright that Peter must have felt in the pit of his stomache must have been agonizing. That phrase is synonymous with: It’s malignant, there was nothing we could do, or it’s inoperable.
The war against sin and the effects of sin is real. You need to be a dedicated soldier just to effectively handle the initial onslaught of an attack, much less be victorious in battle.
You’re not the toy soldiers in the “Babes in Toyland” story. You are warriors in a real war. You have everything at your disposal to be victorious. But whatever battle you are presently fighting: sickness, doubt, lust, etc… if you are a toy soldier, prepare to be sifted.
