I sit and wonder about this world,
Spinning in space as it is hurled;
Wondering if truly the end is near,
For things are not perfectly clear.

I think about where we have gone,
As a new year is about to dawn;
And where God is taking us to,
What will we have to go through?

We already know He has a plan,
For every woman and every man;
That holds some ultimate purpose,
Reasons that eventually surface.

So we should never question why,
If God is who that you truly rely;
Put all your faith and trust in Him,
And then life will not look so grim.

As long as you let Him in control,
No need to worry about your soul;
For He will never let you down,
Or your smile turn into a frown.
