Shadows are crossing
The cold wind blows
Clouds hanging low
And nobody knows.

The pain, the suffering
Cause too much grief
Only You, my Counselor
Can bring relief

Winter is known
For closure of time
For ending the search
To finally find

But answers still fail us
Shadows stay home
And life without Him
Is always alone.

Praying for spring
Long overdue.
Clouds being lifted
Hope being renewed

Winter is known
For closure of time.
God give me peace
That You will be mine.
