but lately I feel
that it's just not quite full.

I'm reaching
for someone to touch, and from You I know now
I can't get that much.

I'm losing my patience
and my purity,
and I hope You don't feel, Lord,
that You're losing me.

Lord, I'd choose You,
but that's not an option,
so what do I do?

My soul isn't empty;
what's empty's my arms.
Why do I fall prey to
worldly wants and charms?
