It's almost time
for it to be my turn.
Two deep breaths;
I'm facing death.
My back is really gonna burn.

They can do it-
nothing to it,
flipping in the air.
Why can't I?
I'm not shy,
just really, really scared.

Why am I shakin?
We're playing "CHICKEN,"
and I am next in line.
On the tip of the board--
Help me, Lord!
This game's name should be mine.

Jump real high
in the sky;
my body twists and spins.
A sudden SMACK!
Oh! My back!
The blow knocked out my wind.

My turn's next;
they'll all regret
putting me through pain.
A belly smak--
I'm used to that.
They'll never flip again.
