Behold men in the field
Toiling to raise the slain tent,
Building the ruins of Jericho
Crumbled by the hand of God!
Behold the valiant in the plain
Striving to restore the uniform
Tore by the fingers of God,
That we may be all of a household!
Behold again the evil house
Rearing her head from the dust
To hold again the sceptre aspired
And goad the world to the end!
If the sun has risen in the East,
Will it tarry to set in the West?
