Faith

one day waiting will cease,
imagination will crystallize,
and hope will knock on my door.
my faith will do it,
my prayers will birth it.

i know it as i know my name.

one day longing will be satisfied,
and the empty fields filled with grain.
As i reach out i will touch a form.
my faith will accomplish it,
my prayers will birth it.

as the sun shines daily, it shall come.

one day hope will come to me
and say 'sister hear i am!,
all you've ever prayed for
all you've ever asked for'
