Well, it’s getting close to Christmas
Another year is almost gone
God has given many opportunities
To believe in Jesus Christ His Son

Yet how many never ponder
Never think of Eternity
Only living for the present
Only concerned about today

Eating, drinking, being merry!
But alas! It soon will end
Christ is coming back in judgment
Will you know Him then as friend?

The angels herald His earthly entrance
All mankind should do so too
The Lamb without one spot or blemish
Died to make us born anew

All this earth's worldly treasures
Could not buy what Kings have sought
Peace of mind through God’s forgiveness
With His precious blood was bought

God has made a way for sinners
To enter into heavens gate
Trust in Jesus, trust Him now
Before it is too late

As angels herald His earthly entrance
Told about His lowly birth
They will (Let them) as well rejoice in heaven
When you have your second birth!
