Your soul gives glory to your God,
Your spirit is glad in your Savior;
Because you give honor and laud,
He looks down on you with favor.

He has shown pity on His servant,
Though of being poor and modest;
He knows you be noble and valiant,
And always willing to do your best.

God is strong has done great things,
Awesome is He, Holy is His name;
To all generations that fear brings,
In His mercy we are to proclaim.

His arms have done acts of might,
Ousted those with hearts of pride;
He has made kings to see the light,
As the evil tries to run and hide.

He gave His Word to our fathers,
And that His help would be given;
Showing mercy unto our brothers,
With a promise to inherit Heaven.
