As bells are softly ringing
Wood crackles in the hearth
Choirs are gently singing
Of our Savior’s holy birth

Quietly enjoying the season
Thinking of that day,long ago
Jesus'...coming to earth for a reason
It caused in me, a special glow

It wasn’t warmth, from the fireplace
Nor the tree lights, shining bright
From within, came the glow on my face
Thinking of Jesus, Christmas Eve Night

All the tinsel and all the glitter
Could never shine like that "Star"
As it gave light to the Wisemen
Who had traversed.... Oh so far

As we make merry and celebrate
Let us remember "Christ Our King"
For Our Savior the world did wait
The offer of "Salvation" he did bring!
