“You are, so I am”
Wednesday- November 30, 2005, †

Scripture: Psalm 73:25-26,
25Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you. 26 My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

Meditation:
The following lyrics/poems are my meditation on the two psalms above. I write these pieces in dedication to my Dad, Mr. Trieu V. Le, Baptismal Name: St. Joakim; Born: March 15, 1942 Quang Tri, Tri Buu, Vietnam. Passed: November 27, 2005 Saigon, Vietnam. “When fear takes over me”

Lord, when I am afraid,
I place my trust in You.
When sorrow fills my heart;
My faith shall abide in You.
For You alone are my Light.
You are my Salvation.
O Father come,
Do Your work in me.
For when I am afraid;
All my trust is centered in You.

Lord, when my life is despaired,
I will look to You.
Clouds of darkness all around;
I will run to You.
For You are my Peace- my Protection.
You are my Fortitude.
O Father come,
Do Your work in me.
For when my life is despaired,
I will look to You.

God of all my life,
I will trust in You.
Always, with pure love,
I will trust in You.
And though wind may wail upon me
Rain dart at my head,
Though thunder and lightning
-may roar and strike me.
I know that You will always dwell
-in me.

God of all my life,
I trust in You.
O Father come,
Do Your work in me.
