Christ is the good shepherd,
He is the keeper of the gate;
And His voice is the Word,
The sheep give an ear to wait.

He is the door and is the way,
For through Him is salvation;
Abide in Him never to stray,
As to be your firm foundation.

In Christ freely pass through,
Your coming out or going in;
Wolves are blocked from you,
For stealing you while within.

As the Father said He was sent,
To give his life for the sheep;
For it was totally the intent,
He kept watch as they sleep.

Not one sheep would be lost.
As the shepherd kept vigil;
Even though His life it cost,
Ensuring no entry of evil.
