Healing
It could have been me
standing on the other side.
It could have...
but it was not.
That is why I
should forgive
'cause it could have been me
was it not for You.
Actually it was,
at one time or another.
Not anymore though,
I was washed
and that's why I forgive
and hope to forget,
to carry on with my life
firmly in Your hands,
...'cause it could have been me.
