The winters are here now
I’ll face the chillness – I vow.

Foggy mornings
and dim thoughts
The icy cast of memories
The oceanic web of recollections
One after another
Mixed with the misty fume

In the mornings, when
the coziness’ of the cotton deceives you
uuh…the damp green grass confronts you.
When you wrap yourself in your embrace
the fresh aroma of coffee coax
you realize that what a sinning contentment it is
A picture arrest your mind
O mountains, of snow peaked hills
inviting you
tricking you
telling you about the umpteen secrets they hide underneath
rivers narrating the sagas…unexplored
The chillness gives me goose bumps
But the warmth of treasures locked within gives me solace

Comes the hard black night…
The watch struck eleven
the sound of the night bird
the sound of the thumping stick of the watchman draped tight in a coverlet roaming the roads
In the vast sky
The stars glitter
And in the whirlpool of sentiments
I notice some memories wither….
Nah…
Wither…
or blossom
Litter or recollected
doesn't matter what…
I just immerse myself
in the winter breeze

finding solace in the warmth of my thoughts
gazing at the dimming stars
thinking that
the winters are here now
and I’ll face the chillness - I vow.
Ya... I’ll.
