Poetry
Darkness overtakes the sky,
a dismal gnawing attacks my brain,
fear interweaves and agitates inside,
improbability jerks me around,
grinds deep into my flesh,
wrenching pain tears at my essence.
A clap of thunder and a bolt of lighting,
rips open the obscurity of the heavens,
on bended knees I surrender all to His will,
in a blink -- a ray of radiance emits,
uncertainty, fear, and destiny no longer
squeezes the life out of my spirit.
