OUR HERO

It took a little pain to set me free
What I must realize
is that it happened in order for me to be released
I took the steps
I made the choice
I could have been wiser
And decided to listen to God's voice
The difference is now, but before
All the things I decided to explore
God hasn't let me ignore
All for your benefit
So we could learn how to defeat the devil in all his witts
You see we don't have to cover our sins
Receive Jesus Christ and let the
New man be released from within
He is the One who will give you power
In that hour
When we share our faults with others
And tell them we understand what your going through brother
Saying I've fallen short
I'm no better than you
My Lord and Savior is the only One who brought me through
Weve got to realize, we are here to help each other
Not judge, only loving one another
Understanding that all have fallen short of the glory of God
So offer a hand and not a sword
Unless you try to help and your simply ignored
Then fight for the battle to save your brothers life
Open your sword, get down on your knees to pray
God's our hero, He promises to save the day!
