As Jesus Christ is the true vine,
While the Father is the farmer;
He trims it to make the best wine,
For the best fruit is such an honor.

He cleans out branches with none,
Knowing that it produces more;
An abundant harvest when done,
With a delicious fruit for sure.

Abide in Christ as He is in you,
A branch can not make fruit alone;
Be plentiful as harvest is through,
For Christ fertilizes what is sown.

He is the vine as you are the limb,
Abide in Him to bear much fruit;
He will abide in you if you in Him,
For a fruitful harvest in pursuit.

So if you do not remain in Christ,
Being a thief, a cheat and a liar;
Making no fruit you be sacrificed,
To be cut off and cast into the fire.
