Life keeps giving special brands of treats
and on this certain day it was a blast'
It came out of the blue, with it's new crew
and boy, did they show up fast-

When my heart begin to weigh the situation
without a doubt, it did look big to me;
So Once more I said to myself, this sure's a blast
for it was so much til I could not see

Then I thought when was it ever going to stop
and what more can go wrong;
But, the question got worse, and fell in a verse
saying, O' Lord, O' Lord, how long

But the change of my thoughts did surface
and of them I begin to rehearse;
In what I had done, in those other times
didn't I put the bad in reverse

By stating the matter of the truth, this is life-
with all of it's pieces and bits;
So the answer to the fix, is get a hold of yourself
stop letting the flesh throw fits

God is still on the throne and your not alone
so tie up your boots and jump back in-
Look up and smile to sky, help's on your side
to give you more strength within

When you do this, things around will move
because, of the life in you;
For nothing that's dead, can motivate anyone
it's no light, to help ones through

God's the one who gives this light to shine
and it can cover wherever we go;
No matter how dark it will ignite a spark
because, of it's bright glow

It will even go to the deepest valley's
it can spread out on the sea;
And it will reach the highest mountain
this is how we can make life be

There is no dampness in a delighful soul
no dryness can keep it dry;
When it has a will to conquer life's winds
it won't always sat and cry

We have to pull out what God has gave us
and use it to pick us up;
Tell life your alive, and will, more than survive
and will claim the winning cup
