There comes a time that we will know
just how great our God is to us;
When times our backs are to the wall
we can lean on him and trust

So many days go by without any help
we seek for an answer right then;
But forget to see, patience plays a part
when we can't see how or when

We try what we can to see if it will work
sometimes it won't and sometimes it do;
But there are somethings, that's out of reach
and have to wait until God gets through

Often times we forgot we gave it to him
and before long we meddle with it;
And have to retrack and give it all back
and let God take and do his bit

There's no harm in saying we did doubt some
for to confess is the best thing of all;
And it's not saying, that, we have no faith
for we have a little, even if it's small

But the best thing I know about this my test
it was you, O' Lord, it was you;
For when that problem, seemed, far too much
you came by and brought me through
