We forgot to say thank-you
God for another day
Somewhere along the way
We forgot to pray
Somewhere along the way
We forgot to thank God
for the simple things in life
Somewhere along the way
We forgot to say thank-you
God for our sight
Thank-you God that we may hear
Thank-you God that we may smell
Thank-you God because when we were
Sick it was you who made us well
We forgot to say thank-you God
that we are able to walk
We forgot to say thank-you God and
We are still able to talk
