1Pe 2:9 But ye are a
chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy
nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of
him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

Every time I read this passage, I just have to stand in awe, our GOD
is so remarkable, so loving and so forgiving that HE chose me the
sinner that I am, HE chose you and every believer. Those from times
past, the present and of tomorrow. GOD personally chose us out of
the world to love HIM, to serve Him and further HIS purposes here on
earth. We are the elect of GOD, wow this is so inspiring, so
inviting, and so humbling. Without the grace of GOD and HIS
infilling us with HIMSELF, we are nothing and incapable of doing
good.

When this passage speaks of this generation, it is speaking of the
offspring of GOD, those born of HIM. The day we accepted JESUS, not
because we can do such a thing, but because HE has chosen us, that
day we became a new creation, a creation that by HIS empowering
grace we have the ability and the strength to overcome this world
just as JESUS did, we have the staying power to persevere. We just
need to stay focused on HIM and HIS ways and not conform to the
world and its standards, no matter what time we live in. Will we
fail, yes at times, but we do not go by what can be seen, GOD
HIMSELF looks into our very hearts and sees for HIMSELF what our
purposes are. Do we aim to please Him, ourselves or the world. GOD
knows each thought, each word spoken and each desire we have, HE
knows us better than we know ourselves. This is why reading,
studying, praying and meditating upon Him is so important, gaining a
revelation knowledge of Who we are in HIM and Who HE is in us.

Each person that believes is ordained and made a priest in HIS name.
It doesn't take a college degree, or 8 years in the seminary, it
takes loving HIM, devoting ourselves unto HIM, and seeking HIS
presence all the day long, and being willing to be used by HIM,
being willing to accept change in our lives, and being willing to
say the things that no one wants to hear, because people as a whole
want to think the status quo is sufficient. This way of thinking
causes the world to seep into our hearts once again and feed upon
what is not holy in the sight of GOD.

It takes being willing to go without in order that others would
have. We are called to live as JESUS lived, to follow HIS footsteps,
my brothers and sisters HIS entire ministry is filled with love and
compassion, filled with doing for others so our FATHER would receive
the glory. We must as a people be humble enough in ourselves to be
willing to be transformed more and more into HIS likeness, and be
true to the calling on our lives.

Our being called to be a holy nation is to be consecrated, to be
sacred and pure in our hearts. This is impossible for man, but we
are to live a spirit filled life, being led by HIM in all things,
for it is HE that opens all truth unto us and causes our maturing in
HIM. The HOLY SPIRIT is always leading us into repentance with a
godly conviction that will always lead to Him. HE utters words on
our behalf, if we will just have faith and open our mouths. HE
guides us into the right and proper places, HE equips us with each
fruit and each gift that GOD has given unto us sinners, to become
more and more holy.

We are a peculiar people indeed, we have become an acquisition,
being purchased by the blood of JESUS become the sole property of
GOD HIMSELF. HE saved our own souls do we not think we should dig
and dig to find an understanding of who HE has made us to become, HE
welcomed us into HIS royal family, do we not think we should renew
our minds as we have been told and represent our GOD in a manner
that is fitting and proper

My brothers and sisters, I pray that each person that reads this,
humbly get down on their knees and ask our FATEHR to reveal how this
is to work in each of our lives and walks with HIM, that we accept
HIS calling of us and we submit ourselves as eager instruments to be
molded into what HE desires. That we make a conscious choice in our
hearts today, that we will quit playing and get serious with the
only living GOD, a jealous GOD that has a wrath that can not be
kindled. That each of us realize that there is no writer than can
embody the completeness that GOD has in store for each of us, that
we take the time to read more, study more, pray more and meditate on
all things pertaining to HIM.

Thank you all and GOD bless each of us as we seek HIS face, and not
just HIS helping hands.
