Who Waits Behind the Veil?

They appear to sleep as those about them weep

Witness here?
Unselfish love will be rewarded
and those about us forgiven.

Tears of sorrow?
NO, those would be selfish,
tears be of joy!

How long will you weep?
How long did I suffer?

Ask me in the morning.

When suffering is no more and we're at home,
singing face to face of great love,
grace, patience and perfect justice
available to all who will with faith
and foresight obey, as able...
until the end.
