When you are troubled and in need of comfort
God is only a prayer away
and his calling number is, J-E-S-U-S
which can be reached by night or day

This connection is free to anyone
and you may put it on his voice-mail
then surly he will get back to you
for this is a service that will never fail

His answering machine holds all calls
there is no limit of numbers to use
and you never will need call-waiting
neither does he deal with don'ts or do's

If a storm comes through we need not worry
when the lines are broken down
and there is no interruption of this service
for he promised to always be around

Therefore you will never need a repairman
for everything has been fixed for you
no phone bill to pay no long delays
and you have free access to get through

You will have no need for call forwarding
just take your time for he is willing to wait
and your message will get there loud and clear
for he is always on time and never late

no operator needed to transfer your call
and he is waiting for you to ring him up
to ask him for help, before you fall
