Rekindle O Lord, Your fire.
Reveal the gold that lies in the mire.
Burn off the flesh and dross.
For it will be no loss.

True, the burning may bring a pain.
But after the pain there will be again.
O flesh of mine , prepare to die.
Now, don't ask me the reason why.

For the time of the Son of Man draws near,
And all Saints must live in holy fear.
All Saints must be white and clean;
Not a spot, blemish or wrinkle must be seen.

Help me rebuild this altar, O God!
My heart craves for You the Living God.
As a land whose water is gone,
I will not leave till all dross is gone,
And Your Kingdom, the gold, has come.
