It is not everyday a woman’s spirit becomes alive

Yet…Her soul urns
For the day her stars will revive

Her cup of goodness remains to overflow
In body, words and deeds she seeks forward to weave and to sew

Through the journey of laughter, excitement and grace
She wants to be lifted
Her pink sparkle ashes set pace

In dire ecstasy she yells to the mountains, “God hear my plea”
I cannot endure another day below
Help me rise above in love

Rise above the depressed and the alone
To a feeling of happiness and contentment resting within my bones

She waits and she rests
She mourns and she longs
To find peace within this life moving on forever long

It is glorious a woman of faith
Who seeks beyond the battles of her natural given race

Let not the ones who betray me or leave me astray
Be the anchors which lead me to heaven’s flood gates
But the ones who stand beside me through thick and thin
Who allow my hair to blow over again and again..

The future in my hands
My thoughts in the palm of God’s great plan
Lend me stillness in this quiet painful life
To a place of laughter, calmness and strife

I seek to be alive
I urn to love on
Set my heart toward further bond
