Sitting by the peaceful waters
Soaking in the sun
Listening to the trickle of the stream
Wiggling my toes in the water...
just for fun.
Basking in the sunshine
Soaking in each ray
Skipping stones across the water...
It's fun to play.
Birds singing cheerful tunes
Squirrels playing in the tree
Butterflies fluttering by
Displaying breathtaking colors for me to see.
My spirit light
My soul soaring in the sky
Peace surrounds me like a glove
Down to rest, I lie...
By the peaceful waters
Soaking in the Son
Resting in the arms of Jesus...
the peaceful One.
