REDEMPTION
I wake up to another beautiful day
As I hear the birds singing a song;
A song of redemption
Redemption is more than a song
It is a love story
About a God , madly in love
That he went all the way
And I mean all the way
To reclaim a lost soul like me
Redemption is the rays of God’s love
Piercing the morning sky
And lightening up my day
A reminder that I’m still
Top on His priority
Redemption is God loving me
When there was nothing in me to love
Redemption is a patient father
Whose tender mercy never ends
It’s a gentle God, giving me
A new start with every new day
Yesterday’s failures are gone
As I press into the warm embrace
Of God’s redemption.
