Hope is to faith
What silver is to gold
Hope is to faith
What the moon is to the sun
Hope can be a bridge to faith
Which is the bridge to our miracle
Hope is the anchor of the soul
Faith is the vision of the spirit
To see a far-off goal
Hope is the flickering shadow
Of the brightly shining faith to come
Hope can wax and wane like the ocean tides
But God-given faith finds its feet and stands firm
Hope hopes
But faith is sure.

Hope is a hedge against despair
Faith is a victory cry
Hope sustains us
Faith gives us wings to fly
Hope is a spark to keep dreams alive
Faith is an unquenchable light
Hope glimmers
But faith shines gloriously
Hope is Faith’s humbler sister
But never never despise her
Hope is a step toward faith
A promise of the glory which lies
On the other side
Of the knotty fabric of mortal life.
