Heart, don't lose your faith
Past may have left you broken
Pick the pieces, fate awaits
Mind not my fall nor pain
Scars are not hurtful memories
But badges of the courage gained

Heart, don't bring me down
Heart, please heed me now
I must go to where I'm bound
To brave the willful torrents
For a fulfillment to be found

Heart, be brave…be strong
This journey may seem bleak and wrong
But living has fed me dreams
Dreams that kindle the embers of my will

Forward, high and low
Trust these feet will take me
Off to where you say go

Heart, don't lose your faith
Heart, don't bring me down
Though imperfection's in my blood
I shall capture what I lack
And be the glory of my God
