Grace from disgrace.
Where there's much disgrace,
Much grace abounds,
To raise for praise
The Name above all names.

Where sin abounds,
Grace much more abounds
Amazing saving grace
That rings forgiveness sound.
Grace lifts the one deep in sin,
Now surrendered, to clean.
Grace that takes from the gutter,
To places higher and better.
Grace that removes the barrier
To see the face of the God of Grace
in the holy place.

Grace bestows power
In the weak and dark hour.
Grace breaks the bond of penury.
Grace brings to the place wealthy.

Grace that lifts
From the depths of darkness
To the heights of brightness.
Grace that forgives
Forbears and forgets
And new life gives
Grace to make Him known
Make His Name- Ever the same, a crown
Grace that takes off
the garment of disgrace and shame
and adorns with a robe of righteousness
and garments of praise.

Grace that removes the clothes of heaviness,
Making the face radiant and bright
Grace that replaces the
Life of disgrace
For the life of boundless grace.
