MY DAD IS MY BEST FRIEND My Dad is my best friend, He's always there for me, He listens when I talk to Him as I sit upon His knee. No matter what the problem, no matter what I say, My Dad is there to help me, every time I pray. I've learned to fear my Dad as a child who must obey; It's not a fear like terror, but respect to walk His ways. He never fails to keep His Word and when I fall and sin, His grace is there to catch me and erase where I have been. I know that I can trust my Dad and He won't let me down, And when I go to live with Him, He'll give to me a crown. It won't be long before He comes, He's built a place for me, And Jesus' Blood is how I know His love is guaranteed. My Dad is my best friend, He is always there for me; I want to be just like my Dad, that’s all I want to be.
