Together, We Grow

We are like flowers that bloom in spring,
Nurtured by love, watered by rain,
Each leaf, each petal, sweet fragrance we smell,
Are miracles- they’re Heaven sent.

But first, we’re seeds planted by hands,
Of those who labor under the sun;
Then someone waters in summertime,
Come, watch us bloom in love divine.

You and I are like those plants,
Firmly planted on solid ground,
We need each other, rain and shine,
Growing like Jesus, as we all bond.

So let it bloom, you lovely soul,
Spread your petals on early morn,
As new day breaks, new life is born,
Behold the beauty- we watch you grow.

But watch those weeds that eat the roots,
Plants can wither when they’re ignored,
Encouragement, prayer and support,
Will keep us growing in the Lord.

We’re beautiful garden in God’s own Land,
He’s Master Gardener with His own hands,
His grace and mercy, His love abounds,
Keeping us together, in Spirit, we’re one.

In Jesus Christ’s garden, we’re not alone,
As we thrive side by side on fertile soil,
In sunshine and rain, in gladness and sorrow,
God watches over us, together we grow.

“So then, neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth.”
1 Corinthians 3:7 ( NASB )

Dear Gloria, Watered by God with love and care and then placed together with His other children to grow - what a special and beautiful 'picture' of God's Family! One 'flower' is lovely, but together with others in a garden God's love really blooms for all to see! And the best part is that there is always space for more 'seeds' to grow! This is such an inspiring, uplifting and joyful message! You did a wonderful job! Love, Peggy

Oh, Gloria, how beautiful! The imagery is so, so lovely. Funny, my niece and I were just discussing how the flowers move from one day to the next depending on where the pot is placed as they reach for the sunlight. You just woke such a wonderful, beautiful vision of God's own, dancing before Him, reaching and rejoicing in the Light of the Son. :::smile::: You are such a lovely "flower" to grow up next to. So glad the Lord lets me share a garden with YOU! Love you!

Gloria, This is beautiful and full of wisdom and truth. We all need each other to grow in spiritual maturity. Thank you for being a part of that for me, Sis. Love and Blessings.

As we thrive side by side on fertile soil,") You are SO right we are co-laborers together all working for the glory of the Lord! This has the sweet smelling aroma of God's love all the way through it! Your words are filled with wisdom and touch the heart. Love, Sharon
