IT’S MY LIFE, WHAT IF? It’s my life, I have a right, I’m not happy anymore. I’ve tried so hard with no results, I’ m walking out the door. Try again? No, that won’t work, the hurt is much too deep I have to have a life for me, I made a vow I can not keep. Our children will just have to see that life is sometimes hard. They’ll be okay and understand that we must live apart. I can’t forgive and try again you should have seen the signs I’ve wasted years I realize and you’ve run out of time. Dry your tears you’ll be fine, I don’t love you like before. Someday you’ll see that this is best, there’s a new world outside our door. Crucified, it was His life, His will was not His own. He showed us how to really love, For the cross He left His throne! What if He had said, “I’ve tried so hard, the hurt is just too deep. They’ve rejected Me, I can’t go on, I made a vow I can not keep. The children will just have to see, this life is just too hard, They’ll be okay and understand that we must live apart. I can’t forgive and try again, They should have seen the signs, I’ve wasted years I realize and they’ve run out of time. Dry your tears, you had your chance, My grace was in my plea, But it’s my life and this is hard, angels, set Me free!” What If???

Cheryl what a sobering thought...brings to mind the verse from Hebrews ""For consider Him who endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds" (Ch 12 vs 3)...and so it goes on...Only one word I would change - that being `Father` instead of `angels` at the end - it is an inspired piece - thank you.
